  • Nairobi to Lewa Wilderness

    Lewa Wilderness

    Lewa Wilderness fly from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport directly to Lewa Downs. You will be met on arrival and transferred to Lewa Wilderness, enjoying a game drive en-route. Depending on your arrival time, either enjoy lunch and an afternoon of discovering Lewa Conservancy, or enjoy sundowners followed by a beautiful candle-lit dinner.

    Lewa Wilderness

    Lewa Wilderness sits within one of Kenya’s major private conservation success stories – the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy. The conservancy comprises 62,000 acres of varied African terrain, overlooked by the magnificent Mount Kenya and has as good a wildlife experience, as anywhere else in Africa. Lewa Wilderness offers a myriad of activities by which to enjoy Lewa Conservancy, from traditional game drives to horse riding and camel safaris or guided bush walks. Your meals are served in the lodge with stunning, picturesque views – or as a picnic while out on safari, enjoying all that Lewa Conservancy has to offer.

    Lewa Wilderness

    Today, another action-packed day of discovery lies ahead. As well as activities bringing you closer to the wildlife, a visit behind-the-scenes of the Lewa Conservancy’s conservation focus, gives you an insider’s perspective on protecting this precious eco-system. Or for a thrilling experience, enjoy a memorable scenic flight in the Waco Biplane (extra cost).

    Day 3
  • Masai Mara Game Reserve

    Little Governors' Camp

    Departure after breakfast, flying directly from Lewa Downs to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. You will be met on arrival and transferred directly to Little Governors’ Camp. It’s a short game drive en route to the camp before an al fresco lunch under the trees. Embark on a thrilling afternoon game drive at 3:30pm and return in the dusk for drinks and chatter around the campfire, before your dinner. Fall asleep to the night-time chorus of the Masai Mara.

    Day 4
  • Masai Mara Game Reserve

    Little Governors' Camp

    Arise early each morning to make the most of your spectacular location. Each day will offer you the option of three game drives within the Mara National Reserve, immersing yourself in this rich wildlife destination.

    Depending on what you feel like, we also have a range of activities to keep you occupied – game drivesMasai village cultural visitswalking safaris, just to name a few. Alternatively, you can simply sit back and enjoy the wildlife interaction taking place down by the river or even book yourself in for some of our safari spa treatments!

    Another option is to pay a visit to some of our responsible tourism community initiatives located nearby.

    Day 5
  • Masai Mara Game Reserve

    Little Governors' Camp

    For a particularly memorable and unforgettable experience, enjoy a surreal journey in a hot air balloon, with Governors’ Balloon Safaris (please note that this is an extra cost), over the Masai Mara plains.

    This adventure begins just before dawn; depart the camp at 5.15am to the Governors’ Balloon Safaris take off site, located just behind Little Governors’ Camp. The fabulous sunrise flight lasts approximately one hour depending on weather conditions. On landing, sit down to a delicious bush breakfast, freshly cooked on balloon burners in the middle of the Mara plains. Toast your return to Mother Earth together with your pilot over a glass of sparkling wine. Game drive back to your camp.

    Day 6
  • Masai Mara to Nairobi

    On your final day, head out on an early morning game-drive at sunrise, followed by breakfast at the camp. If you are departing the Mara on a late afternoon flight, there will be an opportunity for one more game drive (late morning) and a delicious lunch back at the camp. After lunch you will be transferred to the airstrip to catch the PM flight with Governors’ Aviation. On arrival in Nairobi, you will be met and transferred to a restaurant for dinner (dinner to be paid direct). After dinner, transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your international flight home.
