Working dogs cared for by Mugie Conservancy rangers.
Their goal is to support Mugie and the surrounding communities in solving wildlife crimes and incidents of livestock and property theft as well as catching trespassers onto Mugie.
There are currently three working dogs. Mugie House guests love to visit the dogs and enjoy experiencing a demonstration of just how keen the dogs are at tracking down a scent.
Any funds raised are greatly received. These aid in the upkeep of the dogs (food, vet bills and training) as well as their handlers salaries. It costs around USD8 per day/USD250 per month to cover the expenses of a dog plus the handler.
