July in the Masai Mara

Our guests have been treated to some wonderful wildlife viewing throughout the month of July. Big herds of elephant and eland frequent The Marsh, with lion, leopard and cheetah sightings a plenty. Guests at Governors Private Camp had an exciting afternoon watching an enormous Mara crocodile snatching a zebra from the river bank below camp.

July at Loldia House

It's been a busy month at Loldia - July has brought some cold winds off the lake, but nevertheless our guests have enjoyed some wonderful wildlife viewing both on and off the ranch. There have been some exciting birding moments in the garden and the flamingos and water birds on Lake Elementeita have been spectacular.

July at Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge

It's been a very busy month at the lodge. Golden monkeys have been regular visitors to the lodge grounds and the birdwatching has been exciting with a newly resident pair of Great Sparrowhawks. Guests have been enjoying wonderful gorilla trekking, seeing gorillas in open ground with all the groups having small babies - the youngest of which is only a couple of days old.
