Over the last month the Warburgia Trees have begun to fruit drawing in large herds of elephants to the forests around our camps. The grasses on the plains have grown long keeping the big herds of buffalo happy. The Topi rut has begun, Thomson Gazelles are sparring, Kori Bustards are displaying, flocks of Lesser Kestrels roost in the trees beside the streams and Crowned Cranes and Ostriches move through the grasslands with their chicks in tow. The Marsh Pride of lions has new tiny cubs and we have had lots of great leopard and cheetah sightings.
