November Masai Mara wildlife report

November brought with it the rain, lots of lots of rain! With all this rain the grasses on the plains shot up, the marsh and Mara river filled up with water and the Warburgia trees burst into unseasonal fruit. Large herds of resident zebra crossed the Mara River, elephant families moved back into the Marsh, eland herds moved through the grasslands and large clans of Hyena hunted on the plains. Sadly Malaika the cheetah lost one of her cubs to crocodile.
