I have recently returned from a trip to the Masai Mara where my
family and I stayed at the Governors Il Moran Camp. I have to say,
that without doubt, this was the most exquisite holiday experience
that I have ever had.
Everything about the stay was perfect. From the moment we arrived
and marvelled at the fantastic views, to the moment that we sadly
had to depart, every second was an absolute joy.
The tents were immaculate and incredibly luxurious, the staff were
attentive, knowledgeable and the service was first class. In
particular, Cosmos, Lucas and Jackson took fantastic care of us and
our every need was catered to. The food was outstanding. I have not
had such good food in 5 star restaurants in London. It was fresh,
plentiful and delicious.
However, the best part of our trip were the safaris. Our guide,
Simon, was incredibly knowledgeable, extremely good fun and was the
best guide that we could have hoped for. He was always ready to
answer questions and impart his knowledge and he went out of his way
to accommodate our requests of which animals we wanted to see.
Since returning to London, I have already recommended your camp to
everybody I know, telling them that it is an experience that they
cannot afford to miss. I am just writing this e-mail to express my
gratitude to you for hosting us in such wonderful fashion. There are
not enough superlatives in the dictionary to do your camp justice. I
shall be returning as soon as I can, hopefully for the wildebeest
migration. Thank you so much for making our trip the holiday of a
lifetime.
