We are running a Photographic Safari in the Masai Mara with world renowned photographer, film maker and wildlife guide Warren Samuels. This is a safari staying at Governors Private Camp where you will get the chance to hone your wildlife photography skills under the expert guidance and tuition of Warren Samuels. This safari is aimed at anyone with an interest in wildlife photography, whatever your current photographic skills. Its all about spending time in the wild with a top photographic and wildlife guide and getting the chance to improve your photography skills and capture that bucket list image, be it wildebeest crossing the Mara River, Big Cats in the wild or an quiet moment amongst an elephant family on the plains. As well as just enjoying time in the wild with one of Africa's top safari guides.
Photographic Safari at Governors Private Camp
- Photographic instruction given in the car each day.
- Evening slide shows on wildlife photography illustrating some examples of how to take good wildlife pictures,
- Client Image Appraisal sessions
- Screening on wildlife documentaries that Warren have been involved in, which he will present together with a brief lecture on the "making of" of each particular film.
- For those that would like it, Warren will be available to provide extra photographic coaching out side of game drive hours in the camp photographic gallery.

Transfers in Nairobi from International Airport to Domestic Airport, flights to Masai Mara, 6 or 7 nights on safari at Governors Private Camp hosted by Warren Samuels, Participation on the Photographic workshop, Park Fees in Masai Mara, daily game drives in shared 4wd vehicle, breakfast, lunch and dinner in camp, laundry, return flights to Nairobi and a transfer to the international Airport for your flight home.

Warren's early years as a wildlifedocumentary cameraman, was spent in theMasai Mara National Reserve, where he and his family lived in a tented camp on the banks of the Mara River. It was here that he had the privilege of working amongst Africa's Big Cats, the Great Wildebeest Migration, and the Masai communities that live there. Warren went on to film for major documentary series such as BBC's Big Cat Diary, Big Cat Week and Big Cat Live as one of the principal cameramen. In addition Warren has filmed for other well known documentaries for the BBC such as Human Planet, Truth about Lions, Secret Life of Elephants and Planet Earth Live.
On Safari with Warren
Warren began running Big Cat film & PhotographicSafaris in the Masai Mara as a guide and camera instructor in 2002. On his safaris he encourages people to learn how to use their own DSLR stills and video cameras, and with his experience as a wildlife cameraman, he is able to expertly maneuver and position car and camera to get the best lighting and composition, guaranteeing first class images. He also acts as a specialist Big Cat guide with the unique ability to understand and interpret big cat behaviour. Warren prides himself in being able to get his clients, "UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL", to the big cats allowing them to experience both a sense of awe and intimacy with these great predators.
